Matt 4:3-4 (KJV) When the tempter came to Him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But He (Jesus) answered & SAID, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. John 4:34 Jesus explained, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me & to finish His work”. John 6:35 Jesus answered, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never hunger, & whoever believes in Me will never thirst. — The Son of God confronts the enemies temptation by using the word of God. Our human life depends ultimately on God’s sustaining word as did the son of God. This principle calls us to prioritize regular intake of Scripture & to be obedient to Christ, Our Bread of Life. Victory over our enemy is truly tied directly to our trust & reliance on Christ thru God’s word. Love Mel
