Phil 2:12-13 (ESV) Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear & trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will & to work for His good pleasure. — What do you think it means to work out our salvation with fear & trembling? First the Greek indicates to continue to work to bring something to completion, second the Greek word translated “fear” means “reverence” or “respect.” Finally in “pursuit” of our salvation!
