Prov 16:20 (ESV) Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good, & blessed is he who TRUSTS in the Lord. Jer 17:7 Blessed is the man who TRUSTS in the LORD, whose confidence is in Him. Psalm 84:12 O LORD of Hosts, how blessed is the man who TRUSTS in You! Psalm 56:3 (NIV) When I am afraid, I put my TRUST in You. — TRUST is “to set one’s hope & confidence upon” & “to be secure, fearing nothing.” We are to TRUST in the Lord with ALL our heart, fearing NOTHING. Our TRUST in God has to be tied to our faith! Faith is a belief in something, often without proof, while trust is the confidence in that same something based on that faith. Faith is believing that God can do what He promises, while trust is believing He WILL do it! Let’s be the ones that truly believe that He WILL. Love Mel
