Gen 2:2 (ESV) On the seventh day God finished His work that He had done, & He rested on the seventh day from all His work that He had done. Hebr4:9-10 There remains, then, a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His. Matt 11:28-30 Come to Me, all you who are weary & burdened, & I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you & learn from Me, for I am gentle & humble in heart, & you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy & My burden is light.” — God created, then He rested! I believe that He must have marveled at His creation, and we too should marvel at His creation! This rest that He made for us to continue to marvel at His creation will bring joy to our hearts if we can just slowdown & take it all in. Here we have the opportunity to see the testament to our creator God. — Rom 1:20For His invisible attributes, namely, His eternal power & divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. — Spend some time marveling at His creation you will be glad you did!
