Psalm 23:1 (ESV) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. John 10:1 I AM the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. John 10:14 I AM the good shepherd. I know my own & my own know me. 1 Peter 5:4 When the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. Rev 7:17 For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, & He will guide them to springs of living water, & God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. — The Shepherd is a lover of the flock! He is “one who tends, guides, & protects the flock.” Jesus says to Peter, “If you love me, FEED my Sheep!” The good shepherd sacrifices His life for the sheep! Our Shepherd is our guide, our protector & the one that leads us. We merely need to choose to follow! He is our hope for the crown of glory! And the Crown of Glory is reserved for the faithful!
