Lev 23:1-2 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the people of Israel & say to them, These are the APPOINTED FEASTs of the Lord that you shall proclaim as holy convocations; they are MY APPOINTED FEASTs. — Have you ever considered Gods APPOINTED FEASTs as being important or even thought just maybe those are the ones we might want to celebrate to honor Him, since they are His FEASTS! So what are Gods APPOINTED FEASTs? Sabbath; new moon observance; Passover; Feast of Unleavened Bread; Feast of Weeks; Feast of Trumpets; Day of Atonement; & Feast of Tabernacles. A nice summary of each is found at the following link. Also, it is good to know that these festivals are a shadow picture of the fulfillment of His son for our sins. What a beautiful story of what is hidden within the dates that are His Feast days! Maybe it is way more important than we have been lead to believe.
