Gen 26:2-4 (ESV)The LORD appeared to him (Issac)& said, “Do not go down to Egypt; dwell in the land of which I shall tell you. Sojourn in this land, & I WILL BE WITH YOU & will bless you, for to you & to your offspring I will give all these lands, & I will establish the oath that I swore to Abraham your father. I will multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven & will give to your offspring all these lands. Matt 28:18-20 Jesus came & said to them, “All authority in heaven & on earth has been given to me. Go therefore & make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father & of the Son & of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. & behold, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, to the end of the age.” — OUR PROMISE FROM GOD, “I WILL BE WITH YOU ALWAYS”! This was His final encouragement to the disciples whose world had been turned upside down! This group had been on what must have been a crazy roller coaster. We too can find ourselves on a roller coaster in this crazy world like Egypt, but if we can keep our focus on Him, we can find the peace that surpasses all understanding. STAY Focused on Jesus!
