Eph 4:21-24 (KJV) If so be that ye have heard him, & have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; & be renewed in the spirit of your mind; & that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness & true holiness. — Our most important purpose is to become Christ like, because apart from Him the old self is full of deceit & corruption! All that said, we must choose to put on the new & discard the old! This is the only way for a true conversion. For we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. This is why it is so important to seek first His Kingdom, for it is by Him that we can ever achieve His likeness! Those who seek after the world will no doubt become more & more like the world!
