Prov 11:2 When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. Col 3:12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy & dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness & patience. James3:13 Who is wise & understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. & what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy & to walk humbly with your God. —Humility opens the inner sanctuary to the presence of God. The issues of life that result in the fear of man, pride, and impulsiveness can bring harm, but God brings us to repentance with a humbled heart. A heart that is open to receive the teaching of Jesus Christ can move mountains and can become the foundation that God uses to bring about His plan! To be humbled here is to be a servant like Jesus!
