Col 2:6-7 (ESV) Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted & built up in him & established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. Eph 3:17 So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted & grounded in love. —Have you ever considered Gods plants? The seed sends its shoots to the ground to gather the nutrients that are necessary to live, while at the same time it sends its shoots up for the world to enjoy! Both are required! The roots grow deeper & the plant becomes stronger! This is a picture of what we must do to become the Christian that is strong! Be strong in faith, being rooted & grounded in the love of God.
