Matt 13:45-46 (KJV)Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went & sold all that he had, & bought it. — Have you ever considered how a pearl is formed? A small grain of sand gets inside the oyster & over time due to the irritation of the sand a pearl is created. Pearls are considered a treasure. — Matt 6:19-21 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth & rust doth corrupt, & where thieves break through & steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, & where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. — Could giving praise to God be building treasures in heaven? Consider, it is easy to give praise when everything is going great, but just maybe giving Him praise in our difficult times is like building our own pearls in heaven. — Psalm 100:4-5 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, & into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, & bless His name.
