Life is a struggle against an unseen enemy! Eph 6:12 (KJV) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. — Paul the Apostle was imprisoned, repeatedly flogged & beaten as well as stoned. He was shipwrecked three times, & bitten by a viper. Tradition says that Paul is eventually put to death for his work. Here are. Paul’s words! — Phil 4:12-13 (NIV) I know what it is to be in need, & I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any & every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do ALL this through Him who gives me strength.” — Now How can one go thru all this? He clearly tells us it is with Him who strengthens him! —1 Peter 5:10 (NIV) The God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you & make you strong, firm & steadfast. — In order to overcome the plans of the enemy we must rely on the one that did just that!
