Luke 22:17-20 (KJV) He (Jesus) took the cup, & gave thanks, & said, Take this, & divide it among yourselves: For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. & He took bread, & gave thanks, & brake it, & gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of Me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. — Jesus is the mediator of the New Covenant, replacing the old animal blood sacrifice with His own sacrifice, forever making atonement for our sins! We are to repeat this, remembering Him & what He has done to set us free! So don’t forget to Give Thanks in this New Year for Him & His provision! Love Mel
