It corrects us when we are wrong & teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare & equip His people to do every good work. Matt 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. 1 Cor 1:18 (ESV) For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
