Salvation is “the act of saving or protecting from harm, risk, destruction & loss”. The Biblical meaning is “the saving of the soul from sin & its consequences”.
Eph 2:8-9 (ESV) For by grace you have been saved through faith. & this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Titus 3:5 He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to His own mercy, by the washing of regeneration & renewal of the Holy Spirit,— His Love & His grace hold within it great power to change us for all eternity! These gifts have come to us thru Christ, His only son! That thru Him we have inherited the kingdom of God! Hallelujah. Sing His praise, by living a life filled with His JOY!
