Prov 11:13 (NIV)A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret. Prov 16:28 A perverse person stirs up conflict, & a gossip separates close friends. Prov 20:19 A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid anyone who talks too much. Psalm 34:13 keep your tongue from evil & your lips from telling lies. Rom 1:29-32 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed & depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit & malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant & boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. — There is a clear lesson here, don’t be a gossip & don’t associate with a gossip!
