Isaiah 40:31 They who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run & not be weary; they shall walk & not faint. —A Quote by Roy Lessin, “As you wait on the Lord, you learn to see things from His perspective, move at His pace, & function under His directives. Waiting times are growing times, & learning times. As you quiet your heart, you enter His peace, as you sense your weakness, you receive His strength; as you lay down your will, you hear His calling. When you mount up, you are being lifted by the wind of His Spirit… When you move ahead, you are sensitive to His timing… When you act, you give yourself only to the things He has asked you to do.” — This quote is filled with so much wisdom. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. And May you soar on the wings of eagles. Love Mel
No Weapon Formed Against Us Will Prosper
Jer 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare & not for evil, to give you a future & a hope. Hebr10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Lam 3:24 The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in Him.” Psalm 33:22 Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in You. — We all go through tough times in life. Having a firm foundation of “Hope in Him” keeps us going when nothing else will! “Hope in Him will bring us thru those times & provides us peace in the middle of the turmoil. We must hold tight to “No weapon formed against shall prosper”. Love Mel
Sowing and Reaping
Job 4:8 As I have observed, those who plow iniquity & those who sow trouble reap the same. Gal 6:7-8 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Prov 11:18 The wicked earns deceptive wages, but one who sows righteousness gets a sure reward. 2 Cor 9:6 Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, & whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. — Some things to consider when sowing & reaping. How much you sow & what you sow matters a lot! We reap what we sow, we reap more than we sow & we reap later than we sow! So you can see the more goodness you sow, then goodness will show up more & later in life! Keep the faith your reward is coming! Love Mel
Be Ye Doers of The Word Not Merely Hearers
John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, & the Word was with God, & the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, & without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life, & the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, & the darkness has not overcome it. Matt 4:4 …“It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Luke 11:28 “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God & keep it!” James1:22 …Be doers of the word, & not hearers only. Prov30:5 Every word of God proves true; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.— Words can be used to tell a story. Words can be used to give advice. Words are the primary means of communication. So how much more important are the words of our creator? They were written to each of us. His book is filled with all the advice & wisdom we could ever need in this world. He even refers to it as bread, a need that we all have! So spend sometime with Him, by simply opening up the Bible. You will find more truth there than you ever will on any tv channel. Love Mel
Crowns for the Believer
Crowns will be our badges of honor reflecting glory upon Our Christ. -Rev4:10-11 The twenty-four elders fall down before Him who is seated on the throne & worship Him who lives forever & ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying, “Worthy are you, our Lord & God, to receive glory, honor, & power, for you created all things, & by your will they existed & were created.”
The Crown of Life -(James 1:12) Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him.
The Crown of Rejoicing – (1 THESS. 2:19-20) For who is our hope or joy or crown of exultation? Is it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? For you are our glory & joy.
The Crown of Righteousness – (2 Tim 4:8) For those who have persevered under trial & stood the test of time.
The Crown of Glory 1 Peter 5:4) awarded to all those who long for His appearing.
The Crown of Victory –(1 COR. 9:24) Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. -For those who have fought the good fight of faith.
— Let’s choose to stand firm, rejoicing in our faith, determined to pursue His righteousness, filled with His glory, running the race of life to win. Willing to fight the good fight of faith. Love Mel
