Isaiah 41:10 (ESV) Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Phil 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 2 Tim 1:7 For God gave us a spirit NOT of fear but of POWER, LOVE & self-control. 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, & whoever fears has not been perfected in love. — We must always remember that the enemy is the father of lies, & wants us to live in fear! FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real! God is our strength. Pray believing in the strength of God. Pray believing that as the LOVE of God flows thru us, we will have the power to overcome the lies of the enemy. Love Mel

1 Tim 6:12 (ESV) Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called & about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. John 14:2-3 In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go & prepare a place for you, I will come again & will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. Rev 21:21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl, & the street of the city was pure gold, transparent as glass—When times get tough it is easy to give up or give in, but God may want us to fight the good fight of faith! Let’s not forget what we are fighting over! On the earth, the fight is over who can become the wealthiest, but I am fully a believer that just to know GOD is far above any earthly wealth that can be obtained! Don’t forget that they are essentially fighting over pavement! Where as to know God & on a path to eternal life far outweighs any earthly gain we could ever achieve! This Thanksgiving, spend time thanking Him, that He chose us to know the truth & to believe! When it’s all over, we have a mansion to go to! Love Mel

Hosea 6:1-2 Come, let us return to the LORD; for He has torn us, that He may heal us; He has struck us down, & He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live before Him. John 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” — In this world we will have trouble, here we find God urging us to seek Him.  It is here we find His encouragement which consists of the knowledge of his ability & willingness to heal our wounds. We must believe in Him, for here is where we find a hope that is greater than we can truly understand. It is real! A love that is beyond this world’s understanding. Love Mel

1 Cor 1:26-31 For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low & despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human beingd might boast in the presence of God. & because of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness, sanctification & redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” John 9:1-3 As He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth. & His disciples asked Him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him. — God works all things to His Glory! We may never fully understand what God is up to, but one thing is for sure & that is His promises. We must continue to believe that ALL things are possible with God & He is our strength thru it all. He said that in this world there would be trouble, but to be of good cheer for He has overcome the world! We have an enemy that roams around looking & we must be ready at all times to do battle! Please add my brother Dennis to your prayer list. Pray for complete healing & protection from the enemy. He fought thru Leukemia, & now has been diagnosed with Aphasia. Aphasia is a  brain issue! Many have it following a stroke. He knows what he wants to say but can’t find the words! They believe his is due to all the meds from fighting cancer! Thank you so much. Life can be so hard at times, but with God, ALL things are possible. Love Mel

1 Sam 30:6 David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because all the people were bitter in soul, …. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God. 1 Cor 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, & He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 2 Tim 4:6-8 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, & the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, & not only to me but also to all who have loved His appearing. — With temptation, with the earthly battles, we are to find our strength in the Lord! Keep the faith, fight the fight, for the crown of righteousness awaits! Love Mel
