Trust in God and Your Eyes Will See More Clearly

John 12:40 (ESV) He has blinded their eyes & hardened their heart, lest they see with their eyes, & understand with their heart, & turn, & I would heal them.— The truth of God will open blind eyes & produce an understanding heart ONLY when we believe! However if we reject His truth for our own, then our eyes will become blind & our hearts hardened! — Matt 6:22 The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light. 2 Cor 3:16 When one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. — Want to see, then look for the light of God, believe in Him & He will guide you thru the darkness. Open your heart & He will set you free! It is all about His truth! Love Mel

Matt 24:4-8 Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ & they will lead many astray. & you will hear of wars & rumors of wars. For nation will rise against nation, & kingdom against kingdom, & there will be famines & earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains. Matt 24:36 Concerning that day & hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. —Imagine Jesus saying to the Father, is today the day that I can return to get them? Not today son, some still haven’t heard the good news! — Matt 24:13-14 The one who endures to the end will be saved. The Sabbath

Mark 2:23-27 (ESV) One Sabbath he was going through the grainfields, and as they made their way, his disciples began to pluck heads of grain. And the Pharisees were saying to him, “Look, why are they doing what is not lawful on the Sabbath?” & He said to them, “Have you never read what David did, when he was in need & was hungry, he & those who were with him: how he entered the house of God, in the time of Abiathar the high priest, & ate the bread of the Presence, which it is not lawful for any but the priests to eat, & also gave it to those who were with him?”
He (Jesus) said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. Col 2:16 Therefore let no one judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a feast, a New Moon, or a Sabbath. Galatians 5:14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” — The Sabbath is for restoring our minds, bodies, & souls! And Again it is all about Love! Choose Your Associations Wisely

Prov 11:13 (NIV)A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret. Prov 16:28 A perverse person stirs up conflict, & a gossip separates close friends. Prov 20:19 A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid anyone who talks too much. Psalm 34:13 keep your tongue from evil & your lips from telling lies. Rom 1:29-32 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed & depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit & malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant & boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy.  Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. — There is a clear lesson here, don’t be a gossip & don’t associate with a gossip! Remember to LOVE God & LOVE one another! Love Mel

AN Example of How to Approach God When You Desperately Need Help!

2 Chron 20:5-12 Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah & Jerusalem, in the house of the LORD, before the new court, & said, “O LORD, God of our fathers, are you not God in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. In your hand are power & might, so that none is able to withstand you. Did you not, our God, drive out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel, & give it forever to the descendants of Abraham your friend? & they have lived in it & have built for you in it a sanctuary for your name, saying, ‘If disaster comes upon us, the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we will stand before this house & before you—for your name is in this house—& cry out to you in our affliction, & you will hear & save.’ & now behold, the men of Ammon & Moab & Mount Seir, whom you would not let Israel invade when they came from the land of Egypt, & whom they avoided & did not destroy— behold, they reward us by coming to drive us out of your possession, which you have given us to inherit.  O our God, will you not execute judgment on them? For we are powerless against this great horde that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” — No matter what, keep your eyes on Him! Praise God! Love Mel
