Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be in the boat with Jesus? —Matt 7:23-27 When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him. & behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but He was asleep. & they went & woke Him, saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing.” & He said to them, “Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” Then He rose & rebuked the winds & the sea, & there was a great calm. & the men marveled, saying, “What sort of man is this, that even winds & sea obey Him?” — One thing to remember is He is truly in control! Psalm 18:19 (ESV)He brought me out into a broad place; He rescued me, because He delighted in me. Psalm 41:11 By this I know that you delight in me: my enemy will not ..triumph over me. Psalm 37:23 The steps of a man are ordered by the LORD who takes delight in his journey. — Delight in Hebrew means “to be soft or pliable”! Our God loves it when we are willing to be pliable in His hands! — Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord; & He will give you the desires of your heart.— When we finally learn to trust completely in Him then we find the desires of the heart! Let Gods WORD be our guide! —Rev 3:7-13 To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: ‘The words of the holy one, the true one, who has the key of David, who opens & no one will shut, who shuts & no one opens. I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, & yet you have kept my word & have not denied my name. …….. Because you have kept my word about patient endurance I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, & I will write on him the name of my God, & the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, & my own new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.— in need of Gods help, He really likes us to keep His WORD! 1 Thes 5:18 (ESV) Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. — This can be so very hard at times! — However if we —Col 4:2 Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. Psalm 116:17 I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving & call on the name of the Lord.— Our thanksgiving is a sacrifice, which means that it costs us something! When we finally learn to live with a thankful heart in all circumstances it is here we truly understand the devotional love of our Heavenly Father & all that He provided us with on that day at Calvary! It is here that we find His love & the true light of the world! Each of the disciples were willing to die for this! How much more should we be willing to sacrifice whatever He may ask that we too get that most amazing transformation to an eternal kingdom forever! Love Mel

Psalms 23:3 ( ESV) He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for the sake of His name. 1 John 3:7 Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as He is righteous. 1 John 2:29 If you know that He is righteous, you may be sure that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of Him. —The key: Always do what you know is right no matter what! Always Remember you will know the righteous by their righteous fruit! And don’t ever forget “The righteous shall live by faith.” It’s important to do right in spite of the world!
