1 Peter 5:10 (ESV) After you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, & establish you. 1 Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice & be glad when His glory is revealed. Rom 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. Matt 11:28 Come to me, all who labor & are heavy laden, & I will give you rest. — Suffering is part of this life, but God tells us if we will come to Him we will find rest in the struggle of life. Forgiveness – Others AND Yourself – is Critical
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful & just to forgive us our sins & to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. —One of the hardest lessons in life is to learn to forgive yourself! So many times in life we feel like we are responsible or guilty for things that we really have no control over. If we believe that God truly loves us, then we can find the faith that we need to heal thru the guilt always trusting God! Love Mel
Number Your Days!
Psalm 89:47 Remember how short my TiME is! … Eccl 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its TIME. Also, He has put ETERNITY into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. Eph 5:15-16 Look carefully then how you WALK, not as unwise but as WISE, making the best use of the TIME, because the days are evil. Gat 6:9 Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 1 John 2:17 The world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. —As time goes by we must learn to appreciate the simple things in this life & ignore the things that just don’t matter! We must learn to treasure TIME over money & PEACE over wealth. This is easy to do when you realize that money doesn’t buy you health, happiness or love! And Stress is the number one killer & while PEACE brings so many benefits. We must be about the Father’s business, doing good in love! For God is Love! And Love covers a multitude of sin! Be at PEACE with ALL men! —Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.—-Walk wisely making the best use of TIME. This life is short! Love Mel
Christ is Our Eternal Sacrifice
Hebr 13:15 (ESV) Through Him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge His name. Hosea 14:2 Take with you words & return to the LORD; say to Him, “Take away all iniquity; accept what is good, & we will pay with bulls the vows of our lips. — Jesus Christ, the Ultimate Sacrifice, is our sacrifice to God! — 1John 1:7 If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, & the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. — This is our blood covenant with God. “Christians can be confident that the gift of eternal life that God gives through Jesus is the true promise to people of faith.” — Hebr 9:12 He entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats & calves but by means of His own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption. Repent and Turn Back That Your Sins May be Blotted Out
Lam 1:8-9 (ESV)Jerusalem sinned grievously; therefore she became filthy; all who honored her despise her, for they have seen her nakedness; she herself groans & turns her face away. Her uncleanness was in her skirts; SHE TOOK NO THOUGHT of her FUTURE; therefore her fall is terrible; she has no comforter. “O LORD, behold my affliction, for the enemy has triumphed!” —SHE TOOK NO THOUGHT of her FUTURE! Or another version says “She lost site of her destiny”! Overcoming the sins of this world always helps us refocus to our true destiny! The Promises of God must become real, everlasting & true to open the door to the everlasting life! Who will triumph will it be the seven deadly sins, anger, lust, greed, envy, pride, gluttony or laziness. When we realize our true destiny it is here that we finally can turn! —Acts 3:19 Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out. Love Mel
