Col 2:7 (NLT) Let your roots grow down into Him, & let your lives be built on Him. Then your FAITH will grow strong in the truth you were taught, & you will overflow with thankfulness. Treasure in Heaven is The Best Kind!
The heart of God is to save us! & you could add “from us”! You might ask, “What do you mean by that?” In this world, we have become so overcome by its treasures! However, the Bible tells us that we are to build treasures in Heaven! So I would ask you to consider, do you have earthly possessions or do they have you? Well here is the true test, — Matt 13:44 (ESV) The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found & covered up. Then in his joy he goes & sells all that he has & buys that field. — December is truly a month of giving! We must remember that this is really our time to show love for God & one another! He showed us His love while we were still sinners! So we have the same opportunity to give this kind of love to those around us! Will you open your heart & give even in the pain & hurt? He is a master potter & He can repair our cracks, but only when we give our vessel to Him. Remember ALL things are possible in His hands! We must learn to LOVE like Him! It is all a Heavenly thing that builds treasures in eternity! Don’t leave anything on the field! We must be willing to give it all. Love Mel
Thoughts and Words are Important!
Remember how great our God is not how big our problems are. Believe the best not the worst! Speak life not death! We are more than conquers. Be diligent! God loves us & don’t forget it! Our relationships should represent Christ! Let it ring joy this month of celebrating the Birth of Jesus! We are blessed to be a blessing! Let’s show the world thru our thoughts & words! We Were Pre-Destined for Adoption!!
Eph 1:3-5 (NIV) Praise be to the God & Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For He CHOSE us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy & blameless in His sight. In love He PREDESTINED us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure & will. — God CHOSE & PREDESTINED us! Our salvation &status as believers are by God’s design, on purpose! How cool is this! God decided to adopt us out of His own desire & purpose! God chose us before the foundation of the earth! The Story of Joseph
Prov 14:30 (ESV) A tranquil heart gives life to the flesh, but envy makes the bones rot. Rom 13:13 Let us walk properly as in the daytime, …….. not in quarreling & jealousy. Acts 7:9 The patriarchs (brothers), jealous of Joseph, sold him into Egypt; but God was with him. Prov 23:17 Let not your heart envy sinners, but continue in the fear of the Lord all the day. — The Bible tells us that Jealousy & Envy turned the hearts of Joseph’s brothers to the point that they wanted to kill him, but settled for selling him into slavery! How sad is that! But God uses Joseph thru it all. Joseph rose to second in command of Egypt & saved Egypt & his own family including his brothers. — Gen 45:4-5 Joseph said to his brothers, “Come near to me, please.” & they came near. & he said, “I am your brother, Joseph, whom you sold into Egypt. & now do not be distressed or angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life. — When you find yourself in difficult situations, it is critical you turn your issues over to Him & Him only. This will always be your winning hand! Never look at the situation! Joseph was in prison for 13 years, & yet he trusted that God was with him thru it all! Never underestimate the power of God.
