Don’t Grow Weary in Well Doing

Gal 6:7 (ESV) Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. Eph 6:8 Knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord. Psalm 126:5 Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! Prov 4:23 (NIV) Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.  —Sowing seeds! In this life we are given seeds to sow! Our Time, goodness, laughter, love, tears, a helping hand, a listening ear, & even a smile counts! Also mind your words & deeds it will go well with you! Of course they all have the opposite but if we reap what we sow, seems to me we need to try and stay focused on the positives! The Bible tells us that the greatest seed is love! He tells us to guard our hearts above ALL else! We reap more than we sow, because the principle is based on seed time & harvest. An ear of corn yields so many seeds for the next harvest! So keep those smiles coming they will bless you more than you know! Love Big & Laugh often! God tells us it is medicine for our souls! Love Mel

Thoughts Need to Be Managed

Rom 12:2 (ESV) Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good, acceptable & perfect.  —Renewing our minds! Our minds are like a field that has been planted with seed, without continual weeding the good crop will be overcome by the weeds. We are to plant our minds with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, & self-control.

If we are not continually weeding out the negative thoughts, the anger, pride, lies, immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness then they will choke out the good crop. We must take every thought captive to obey Christ. Remember God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power, love & a sound mind. Don’t become a victim of fear or evil, because our God is greater & He promised to never leave us or forsake us! Keep the faith & believe in the power of God! Renew your mind by remembering Gods truths in scripture and removing all bad thoughts until you fully trust God. Love Mel

Remembering Lessons from 2024 as we go into 2025

Stone’s of Remembrance! These will help us get thru the up coming year!  Below are some to consider! — When you cook a cake, the flour is the main ingredient that holds everything together! Our corner stone must be the main ingredient that will hold our life together in 2025! This is our God! Let Him be the main ingredient in our lives to hold it all together!

Stone 2 —If we forgive others their trespasses then God will forgive us ours!

Stone 3– Power! Our God has power, & we must remember that His power is resurrection power! He is our creator & we need to KNOW this one thing!

Stone 4 — We must let His light shine into our dark spaces! Open up! & when we allow His love to penetrate our life, He can clean up, heal up, light up!

Stone 5 —Josh 3:5 Consecrate yourself for tomorrow God will do amazing things! —clean up before you move into the new year! Let go of past hurt, pain, guilt, shame, unforgiveness, anger, lose.  —REMEMBER your stones! Let them prepare the way for a NEW YEAR. Love Mel

Fear God and Keep His Commands

Psalm 90:12 (NIV) Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. James 4:14 You do not even know what will happen tomorrow! What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while & then vanishes.  Col 4:5 Act wisely toward outsiders, redeeming the time. Eph 5:15-16 Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Eccl 12:13 When all has been heard, the conclusion of the matter is this: Fear God & keep His commandments, because this is the whole duty of man. — As this year is coming to an end, these words can help remind us of what is most important for the year to come! Fear God & keep His commands! Love Mel

Christmas!

Luke 1:30 (ESV)The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.  Luke 1:35 The angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, & the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God.  Luke 1:38 Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” & the angel departed from her. —Mary shows us how to trust God even when things interrupt our plans! Have you ever had a Mary moment? When things go topsy turvy are you willing to say “let it be”! This lady was to be a virgin getting married to a man, who is to accept that his bride to be was bearing the child of God! This would be very challenging! But Mary said, “let it be”! Lets be those who are willing to trust our God even in the topsy turvy moments! Merry Christmas Love Mel
