Luke 11:3 The Lord’s Prayer

Luke 11:3 Give us each day our daily bread. Matt 6:9-13 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, & forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. John 6:27 Do not labor for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set His seal. Deut 8:3 Man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. — Our daily Bread is the Words that pour forth from the mouth of the Lord! His words bring hope & are ever filling in times of need! They are new every morning & they satisfy the soul. We are to enjoy our bread & spend as much time as we need to be filled with His spirit! To be filled will make each day a way of experiencing His blessing on earth as it is in heaven! Love Mel

Romans 4 – Critical Truths for Successful Christian Living

From Bill—Today’s message is simply scripture for you to meditate on. This message is central to a successful faith journey. Read this passage several times today & consider what it means carefully. From ROMANS 4 (NKJV) ”What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh? 2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, & it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 4 Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. David celebrates the same truth.5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, 6 just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works: 7 “Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, & whose sins are covered; 8 blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.”— Believe God and it is counted as righteousness apart from law keeping. The Holy Spirit is the inside evidence of our righteousness which comes for all only by faith in the finished work of Christ. Our faith in Christ justifies us before a perfect and Holy God! We are forgiven & blessed. Praise God! Believe!! Love Mel

Proverbs 31: An Excellent Wife Who Can Find

Prov 31:10 – An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, & he will have no lack of gain. She does him good, & not harm, all the days of her life. She seeks wool & flax, & works with willing hands. She is like the ships of the merchant; she brings her food from afar. She rises while it is yet night & provides food for her household & portions for her maidens. She considers a field & buys it; with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard. She dresses herself with strength & makes her arms strong. She perceives that her merchandise is profitable. Her lamp does not go out at night. She puts her hands to the distaff, & her hands hold the spindle. She opens her hand to the poor & reaches out her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of snow for her household, for all her household are clothed in scarlet. She makes bed coverings for herself;
her clothing is fine linen & purple. Her husband is known in the gates when he sits among the elders of the land. She makes linen garments & sells them; she delivers sashes to the merchant. Strength & dignity are her clothing, & she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, & the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
She looks well to the ways of her household & does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up & call her blessed; her husband also, & he praises her: “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceitful, & beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, & let her works praise her in the gates. — To all the moms -have a blessed Mother’s Day!! Love Mel

1 John 5:13 You May KNOW You Have Eternal Life

1 John 5:13 I write these things to you who believe in the Name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. Acts 4:12  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Romans 10:13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Prov 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it & is safe. Phil 2:10 At the name of Jesus every knee should bow. — There is Power in His Name! There is Hope in the Name! There is strength in the Name! There is Victory in the Name! —John 14:12-13 Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. & I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. —Because Of Him we are called Children of God! Whatever we do in His Name brings glory to the Father! Love Mel

Exodus 14:13 FEAR NOT

Exod 14:13 Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, & see the salvation of the Lord, which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. Isaiah 30:15 For the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, has said: “By repentance & REST you would be saved; your strength would lie in quiet confidence…Exod 14:14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still! Isaiah 26:3-4 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Psalm 46:10 “Be still & know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted over the earth.” — We need only be still, calm trusting in God & Him alone. For He works on our behalf, when we let Him! This trust is one of the hardest thing to do! But if we can ever get it, we will find His rest! — Hebr 4:10 For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His. —Have you ever had a plant that you failed to water or one that you watered too much! This is what constant worry does, it kills by its very nature! When we put it in His hands then rest, we have the opportunity for some of the most remarkable outcomes we have ever experienced! God loves us & is waiting patiently for us to call! Love Mel
