Numbers 6:24-26 May The LORD bless you & keep you; May the LORD make His face to shine upon you & be gracious to you; May the LORD lift up His countenance upon you & give you peace. Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God & Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Matt 5:3-12 Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. “Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger & thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. “Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when people insult you & persecute you, & falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. “Rejoice & be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. —God’s Blessings are everywhere! Romans 8:26 The Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. Luke 11:13 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him. Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy & peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. —In this hope we are saved! The Spirit helps us, as our God fills us with all joy & peace, so that we may abound in Hope! Hope is the sail & the Holy Spirit is the wing beneath the sail moving us along the seas of life! —Isaiah 40:31 Those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run & not be weary, They shall walk & not faint.” — He is our strength that allows our hope to abound all the more! Luke 11:3 Give us each day our daily bread. Matt 6:9-13 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, & forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. John 6:27 Do not labor for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set His seal. Deut 8:3 Man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. — Our daily Bread is the Words that pour forth from the mouth of the Lord! His words bring hope & are ever filling in times of need! They are new every morning & they satisfy the soul. We are to enjoy our bread & spend as much time as we need to be filled with His spirit! To be filled will make each day a way of experiencing His blessing on earth as it is in heaven! Love Mel

From Bill—Today’s message is simply scripture for you to meditate on. This message is central to a successful faith journey. Read this passage several times today & consider what it means carefully. From ROMANS 4 (NKJV) ”What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh? 2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, & it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 4 Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. David celebrates the same truth.5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, 6 just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works: 7 “Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, & whose sins are covered; 8 blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.”— Believe God and it is counted as righteousness apart from law keeping. The Holy Spirit is the inside evidence of our righteousness which comes for all only by faith in the finished work of Christ. Our faith in Christ justifies us before a perfect and Holy God! Prov 31:10 – An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, & he will have no lack of gain. She does him good, & not harm, all the days of her life. She seeks wool & flax, & works with willing hands. She is like the ships of the merchant; she brings her food from afar. She rises while it is yet night & provides food for her household & portions for her maidens. She considers a field & buys it; with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard. She dresses herself with strength & makes her arms strong. She perceives that her merchandise is profitable. Her lamp does not go out at night. She puts her hands to the distaff, & her hands hold the spindle. She opens her hand to the poor & reaches out her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of snow for her household, for all her household are clothed in scarlet. She makes bed coverings for herself;
her clothing is fine linen & purple. Her husband is known in the gates when he sits among the elders of the land. She makes linen garments & sells them; she delivers sashes to the merchant. Strength & dignity are her clothing, & she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, & the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
She looks well to the ways of her household & does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up & call her blessed; her husband also, & he praises her: “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceitful, & beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, & let her works praise her in the gates. — To all the moms -have a blessed Mother’s Day!! Love Mel
