Psalm 74:17 You have established all the boundaries of the earth; You have made summer & winter. Exodus 23:31 I will fix your boundary from the Red Sea to the sea of the Philistines, & from the wilderness to the River Euphrates; for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, & you will drive them out before you. Acts 17:26 He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times & the boundaries of their habitation. Deut 32:8 When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, When He separated the sons of man, He set the boundaries of the peoples According to the number of the sons of Israel. —If God establishes boundaries, then why don’t we do a better job of establishing boundaries in our own lives? Believe it or not, but sometimes the correct answer to some things is NO! There are several excuses to this one response, the complainers in life can’t say NO, the controllers in life can’t hear NO, the Non-responders can’t say yes & the avoiders can’t hear yes! Boundaries are essential to our health! They give balance to life! Sometimes life is like a tug-of-war! How do we stay focused on the important things of God? Jesus struggled & always slipped away to the Father for His strength, Therefore how much more do we need His help! Love Mel

John 3:2 This man came to Jesus by night & said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him. Matt 12:38 Then some of the scribes & Pharisees said to Him, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from You”. Mark 13:4 Tell us, when will these things be, & what will be the sign when all these things are about to be accomplished. Matt 24:3 As He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, & what will be the sign of your coming & of the close of the age”.  Judges 6:17 He said to him, “If now I have found favor in your eyes, then show me a sign that it is you who speak with me. —SIGNs —John 20:29 Jesus told him, ‘Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen & yet have believed. — We are the blessed ones! The ones who just believe! For we believe even if there are no signs! Just Believe & Be Blessed! Now that’s a sign! Love Mel

James 4:7 Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, & he will flee from you. Ephesians 6:10-12 A final word: Be strong in the Lord & in His mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers & authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, & against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Romans 8:37 In all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 1 Corinthians 15:57 Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. — Be Strong in the Lord, Put On, Submit, Stand Firm, in Him, who gives us the victory! Did you notice the word “GIVES”! How awesome, He GIVES us the victory over our enemy! For we are more than conquerors thru Christ who strengthens us! Love Mel

Psalm 34:14 Depart from evil, do good; seek peace, & pursue it. 3 John 1:11 Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. The one who does good is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God. Rom 12:9 Love must be sincere. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good. 1Thes 5:21 Test all things. Hold fast to what is good. Job 28:28 Unto man He said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; & to depart from evil is understanding. —Pursue Peace! Love Sincerely! Detest Evil & Depart from It! Cling to what is Good! How hard is this? Test ALL Things! Hold fast to Good! Departing from Evil is understanding! God wants us to hate evil! Probably because He knows what the end there really looks like! To find His Love is Good! It is He who can help us overcome what is evil! But He wants us to hate evil! And to HOLD to what is Good! God is good, & His Love is Steadfast! So if we choose to Hold God, Then we will have the Love that we so desire in this world & all the help to protect us from all evil! Love Mel

Col 1:17  He is before all things, & in Him all things hold together. Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good & acceptable & perfect. Matt 11:28 Come to me, all who labor & are heavy laden, & I will give you rest. Romans 8:28 We know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose. Isaiah 61:3… to give them a crown of beauty for ashes,…Prov 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, & do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, & He will make straight your paths. Jer 17:7 Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord.  —When we surrender our pain, that is when we get Beauty for ashes from God! This is because of THE promise! What the enemy means for our harm, God promises for our Good! When we are willing to trust God with our pain, that is when the beauty shows up! It is all in the TRUST! This is where we learn to say, “It is well with my soul” no matter what! Because when everything is all said & done, all that is left is God & our trust in Him. This is what leads us on the path that leads us home! Our real home!! Remember we are just passing thru!! Love Mel
