Deut 6:5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart & with all your soul & with all your might. Col 3:14 Above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. 1John 4:8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. —When we seek the passion of God, we will find that things not good for us will in fact begin to just fall away! —1Chron 16:11 Seek the Lord & His strength; seek His presence continually. Prov 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, & He will make straight your paths. Phil 2:12-13 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in My presence but much more in My absence, work out your own salvation with fear & trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will & to work for His good pleasure. 1John 3:2 Beloved, we are God’s children now, & what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when He appears we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him as He is. — It is all in the seeking & the being! One of my favorite teachings, thought it was worth sharing! Some may have read it before, but it is always a good reminder! “An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, complaining, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, Un-Forgiveness, false pride, superiority, and ego.” He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, forgiveness and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.” The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?” The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed the most.” Maybe we would all be better served by feeding the good wolf more! Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Eph 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Rom 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, & hearing through the word of Christ. — Faith vs Fear! —Psalm 56:3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you, O Lord. Phil 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer & supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. & the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts & your minds in Christ Jesus. —When we choose to trust God thru the thick & thin, fear will have a much harder time of taking control! Fear is a learned behavior & can be overcome with God! For He says that “NO weapon formed against us can prosper”! That includes fear! & don’t forget that fear stands for False Evidence Appearing Real! Satan is like a trial lawyer, he will try to use everything he can to defeat us! All we need to do, is to remind him of just how big our God is!  With God we can Overcome the tricks of the enemy & Be assured in our faith in God! Always Remember He really loves us! Love Mel

Eph 3:16-20 I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit. Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Eph 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. —Prayer is important to God, this one thing helps our roots grow down into God’s Love & makes us stronger. How deep is God’s Love? The answer is “always deeper still”! We will never fully understand His great love, but we can surly try to find out! Pray, pray & pray some more! Jesus did!! Love Mel

2 Peter 3:8 With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, & a thousand years are like a day. Psalm 90:4 For in Your sight a thousand years are but a day that passes, or a watch of the night.   —What is quick in our minds is not the same in our Lords mind! God’s view of time really looks nothing like ours, For He says 1000 years is as a day!  Maybe that is why we should Prov 3:5 … lean not on your own understanding; Isaiah 55:8-9 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My ways are higher than your ways & My thoughts than your thoughts. — Have you ever noticed that the center of PRIDE is “I”! This one thing is the one thing that gets in the way of our trusting of God! No matter what is going on, our God wants our attention! —Isaiah 55:6-7 Seek the LORD while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near;  let the wicked forsake his way, & the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that He may have compassion on him, & to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.” — He abundantly pardons!
