Psalm 145:18 (ESV)The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. 1 Cor 3:16 (ESV) Do you not know that you are God’s temple & that God’s Spirit dwells in you? Rom 8:16 For His Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. Rom 5:5 Hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. — God will always, always keep His promises to us because He loves us. He lives on the inside of our heart. When we finally connect with His Spirit we will find that Love that completes us! Don’t miss it! Love Mel

1 Cor 12:1 (ESV) Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be uninformed. 1Peter 4:10 (ESV) As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace:  1 Cor 12:8-10 For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, & to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 1 Cor 14:39 So, my brothers, earnestly desire to prophesy, & do not forbid speaking in tongues. 1 Cor 12:31 Earnestly desire the higher gifts. & I will show you a still more excellent way. 1 Cor 14:1 Pursue love, & earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy. — We are to PURSUE Love & DESIRE the Spiritual Gifts!  PURSUE means that we are  : to follow in order to overtake! Desire means we are to long for strongly! God is not threatened by our fears, doubts or unbelief. He is always working to bring us closer to Himself. We serve a Big God. BELIEVE! Love Mel

Jesus gave us a command! —John 13:34-35 (ESV)  A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.  — So what does that mean? —John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. — Jesus showed us a willingness to sacrifice for & repair relationships! —1 John 4:19 We love because He first loved us.  —His willingness to sacrifice His life for us & He repaired our relationship with God! We too must be willing to sacrifice & repair! Loving one another is truly the greatest thing we can do on earth as His Disciple! — Col 3:14 Above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.  1John 3:16 By this we know love, that He laid down His life for us, & we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. John 15:9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in My love. — Love is the key! Love Mel

Psalm 23:1 (ESV) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. John 10:1 I AM the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. John 10:14 I AM the good shepherd. I know my own & my own know me. 1 Peter 5:4 When the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. Rev 7:17 For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, & He will guide them to springs of living water, & God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. — The Shepherd is a lover of the flock! He is “one who tends, guides, & protects the  flock.” Jesus says to Peter, “If you love me, FEED my Sheep!”  The good shepherd sacrifices His life for the sheep! Our Shepherd is our guide, our protector & the one that leads us. We merely need to choose to follow! He is our hope for the crown of glory! And the Crown of Glory is reserved for the faithful! Hebr 11:1 (ESV) Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.  Romans 8:24-25 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. Prov 24:14 Know that wisdom is such to your soul; if you find it, there will be a future, & your hope will not be cut off. Mark 9:22-23  .. (The man said) If you can do anything, have compassion on us & help us. Jesus said to him, ‘If you can’? All things are possible for one who believes.
