Have you ever heard the saying, “Feelings are fickle”? —2 Cor 10:5 We demolish arguments & every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, & we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. —Do we really take our thoughts from those fickle feelings captive? —Isaiah 43:18-19 Do not cling to events of the past or dwell on what happened long ago. Watch for the NEW thing I am going to do. It is happening already, you can see it now! I will make a road through the wilderness & give you streams of water there. Isaiah 51:12 I, even I, am He who comforts you. — God is always doing a New Thing! So our job is to watch for it! Love Mel

Heb.11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2 Cor. 5:7 We live by faith, not by sight. 2 Cor 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. Gal. 3:26 You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. — Faith is the assurance of the hope not yet seen, which is eternal! It “means trusting God’s intent to make good on His promises from an eternal perspective”, not a worldly one! Q, “Jerusalem Bible: Only faith can guarantee the blessings that we hope for, or prove the existence of the realities that at present remain unseen.” Examining all the evidence we can truly come to the agreement that it is best to trust God over all else! So trust God, by having faith in Him & His promises will bring hope to our mind, heart & soul! Love Mel

Gen 2:7 The LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, & breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; & man became a living soul. Isa 42:5 Thus saith God the LORD, He that created the heavens, & stretched them out; He that spread forth the earth, & that which cometh out of it; He that giveth breath unto the people upon it, & spirit to them that walk therein. Job 33:4 The spirit of God hath made me, & the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. 1 John 4:12-13 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God remains in us, & His love is perfected in us. By this we know that we remain in Him, & He in us: He has given us of His Spirit. James 4:5 …He yearns jealously over the spirit that He has made to dwell in us. James 4:6 Praise be to the God who LOVES us, & who despite all of our grievous spiritual adultery, nevertheless gives us MORE GRACE. — Because He LOVES us, He gives us MORE GRACE!

From Bill—Hear the words of Jesus from Matt 25. The Sheep & the Goats: 31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, & all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, & He will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on His right & the goats on His left. 34”Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry & you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty & you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger & you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes & you clothed me, I was sick & you looked after me, I was in prison & you came to visit me.’ 37”Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry & feed you, or thirsty & give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger & invite you in, or needing clothes & clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison & go to visit you?’ 40”The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers & sisters of mine, you did for me.’ 41”Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil & his angels.” — Lets be those on the right! Isaiah 55:8-9 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My WAYs,” declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My WAYs are higher than your WAYs & My thoughts than your thoughts. Exodus 33:13 Now if indeed I have found favor in Your sight, please let me know Your WAYs, that I may know You & find favor in Your sight. Remember that this nation is Your people. Psalm 103:7 He revealed His WAYs to Moses, His DEEDs to the people of Israel. Psalm 147:19 He declares His WORD to Jacob, His statutes & judgments to Israel. — God reveals to those who diligently seek Him, His ways & His will. God’s ways & His word manifest  Who He is, What He is like, & His purposes! Those who fully seek to know His ways find His spiritual presence. To truly discern God’s ways, we must look past this world into the spiritual one! God calls us to walk in His Ways, & at the heart of Him is the cross. We can spend our lives seeking to experience the DEEDs of God as He showed the people of Israel. Here we see the Lord will bless us with many good things, because God is good. Yet, for those who seek His presence, will never settle here. The only thing that will suffice is to know Him & His ways. It is here where We learn to embrace the loss of worldly things that we might gain A true relationship with Our Savior, Jesus Christ! We stand on Holy ground, so remove your Sandals. Love Mel
