Deut 31:6 Be strong & courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of ( ________ ) for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. 2Cor 12:9 My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness. —When bad things happen, it is impossible for the WHYs not to show up! Some words that become so important afterward are rebuilding, restoration, peace, security, safety etc. The most important thing is seeing people helping each other. During this time survivors will always remember what was lost & appreciate what is gained. God promises to use what satan meant for harm to not only rebuild faith in Him, but also faith in one another, proving that we are never alone, that He is always with us! Just focusing on God’s Grace brings a peace in all storms of life! Prayers for all those in a storm or going thru the aftermath! Love Mel
Q, Melody M Austin, “The survivors’ heart answers the still, small voice pushing us to persevere through the difficulty—challenging the suffering to finding strength among the pain. It gives value to the greatest suffering.”
Revelation 1:8: He is The Alpha and The Omega
Rev 1:8 “I am the Alpha & the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, who was, & who is to come, the Almighty.” 1 Chron 29:11 Yours, Lord, is the greatness & the power & the glory & the majesty & the splendor, for everything in heaven & earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Rom 1:20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power & divine nature—have been clearly seen…. Ex 6:2-3 God also told Moses, “I am the LORD. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, & to Jacob as God Almighty, but I did not reveal Myself to them by My name, ‘the LORD. — God Almighty being of great power & might! The Lord or Jehovah is, of absolute, eternal, unconditional, independent existence. — Q by Matthew Henry’s Commentary, We are most likely to prosper in attempts to glorify God, and to be useful to men, when we learn by experience that we can do nothing of ourselves; when our whole dependence is placed on Him, and our only expectation is from Him.” — Love Mel
Ezekiel 33:12: Your Righteousness Will Not Exalt You – Only His Will
Ez 33:12 Therefore, you son of man, say to the children of your people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turns from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sins.— The key here is to repent, to turn, to move away from & to choose His righteousness! To let Jesus change us, is key to real life! — Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to Him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, & hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, & one who sows discord among brothers. Rom 3:23 For all have sinned & fall short of the glory of God. Romans 5:8 But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us! — Remember it is what He DID that saves us! Love Mel
Romans 8: 1-39: There is No Condemnation for Those Who Are In Christ Jesus
Romans 8:1-39 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. — So what are the “things of the Spirit”? —Gal 5:22 The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness & self-control. 2 Tim 1:7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love & self-discipline. — And the greatest is Love! So Love God & your neighbor! We can do this when we discipline ourselves! Love Mel
Ezekiel 1:1: The Vision of The Lord to Ezekiel.
Ez 1:1 In the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles by the River Kebar, the heavens opened & I saw visions of God. Dan 7:9 As I continued to watch, thrones were set in place, & the Ancient of Days took His seat. His clothing was white as snow, & the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was flaming with fire, & its wheels were all ablaze. 1 Kings 22:19 Micaiah continued, “Therefore hear the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on His throne, & all the host of heaven standing on His right hand & on His left.” Isaiah 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high & exalted; & the train of His robe filled the temple. Exod 24:10 They saw the God of Israel. Under His feet was a work like a pavement made of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself. Ez 3:23 So I got up & went out to the plain, & behold, the glory of the LORD was present there, like the glory I had seen by the River Kebar, & I fell facedown. — Visions of our God are found thru out the Bible & are worth pondering!
