Romans 8:28: All Things Work Together for Good for the Believer.

From Bill,”God is not in the event, he is in the response” (Sister Julienne From Call the Midwives). Romans 8:28 “We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”After a bad thing “Keep living until you feel alive again.”  Psalm 34:19 (NKJV) “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.” 14 “Nebuchadnezzar said to them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the image of gold I have set up? But if you do not worship it, you will be thrown immediately into a blazing furnace. 16 Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, & he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”  —What if there is no prosperity? What if there is no healing? Will our faith be strong & will it remain? This is courageous faith! It does not depend on what God does for us. This is what we want. We must Seek to develop it.  Love Mel

Romans 12:2: Be Transformed by The Renewing of Your Mind

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good, acceptable & perfect. Psalm 118:4 This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice & be glad in it. Psalm 66:18 If I cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not listen. 1 John 4:8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. Phil 2:4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. —Life is a gift to be cherished not destroyed & everyday counts! When we learn to cherish the small stuff, we will be as children with the big stuff! And don’t forget that God tells us to get to Heaven we must be as children! —Matt 18:3-4 Truly I tell you,” He said, “unless you change & become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Love Mel
Q: Rose Tafoya, “When you begin to show up and are present in everything you do, your daily cherished moment’s list will be endless. Cherished moments can be as simple as drinking a Chai Latte in bed while reading the newspaper to spending time with your favorite people.”

Matthew 24: Lawlessness Will Abound and the Love of Many Will Grow Cold.

Matthew 24:10-12 “Then many will be offended, will betray one another, & will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up & deceive many. & because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.” —As we see lawlessness increase we must keep our love of God & our fellow man, & our hope in God strong! —Gen 26:1: “There was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. & Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.” What do you do when times are hard? Gen 26: 12 “Then Isaac sowed in that land, & received in the same year an hundredfold: & the Lord blessed him.” Sow in the time of famine, pray & give in the time of lawlessness. Matt 24:13-14 He who endures to the end shall be saved. & this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, & then the end will come.” — The secular world promotes rebellion. People will not to listen to authority. People want to be the god of their own lives. Scripture equates rebellion to witchcraft. Rebellion makes God angry. We as Gods Children must continue to seek 1st His Kingdom & leave ALL wrath to Him! Love Mel

2 Chronicle 16:9: The Eyes of the Lord Range to and Fro to Bless Those Who Seek Him

From Bill —2 Chronicles 16:9 NIV “For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish thing, & from now on you will be at war.” —There is an old song which sums up the whole story in a few words. “Trust & Obey for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus but to Trust & Obey”. Give it all you have. Don’t hold back. What would you give to inherit eternal life? I am sure your answer is “everything”. If God is dealing with you about anything deal with it now. & be more willing to fight to keep your victory. The Jezebel spirit according to Jentezen Franklin is represented by lust, fear, discouragement, & depression. It is a prevalent spirit in the church that works against you & causes many to quit. The kingdom of heaven suffers violence & the violent take it by force. Don’t give up. Don’t give in. You have the secret to victory. You have The daily second chance & the power to prevail thru the grace of God in Jesus Christ. & you have the Holy Spirit to guide you. Just keep on keeping on! Love Mel

Acts 2: The Holy Spirit Given to Believers.

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send him to you. Luke 24:49 Behold, I send the promise of my Father on you: but tarry you in the city of Jerusalem, until you are endued with power from on high. Act 2:1-4 During the arriving of the day of Pentecost, they were all together in one place. & suddenly a sound like a violent rushing wind came out of heaven, & it filled the whole house where they were sitting. & there appeared to them dividing tongues as of fire & SAT upon each one of them. & they were all filled with the Holy Spirit & began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit was giving to them to utter forth.—Pentecost means 50! Exactly 50 days after Christ had been resurrected, the first Christians were celebrating Pentecost & the Holy Spirit SAT upon each of them! This is the beginning of the Church! When we receive God’s Spirit following repentance, that Spirit begins a process of spiritual transformation in our life. Love Mel
