Gen 12:1-3 Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. —Today I was thinking of my childhood & just how blessed I was! We had an awesome family growing up in a small town in MS! We did not have a lot, but one thing we had was a lot of love! My family loved to fish & we had some of the best fish fries ever! Nothing fancy just a lot of good eating, fellowship & fun! We would play outside as long as our parents would allow! What fun! Hope & pray that you can find joy in the small things! Be blessed! Isaiah 41:10: Do Not Fear For God is With Us
Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:13 For I am the Lord your God, who upholds your right hand, Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you. —A test of faith or a test of strength! It’s always a test! When the test come from Him & when we fully understand this, we can find a new faith to believe & a new strength to go thru! We must believe that We are never ever safer, stronger or filled than in the hand of God! Love Mel
Psalm 36:5: His Mercy and Faithfulness Reach to the Clouds
Psalm 36:5 Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; & thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. Isaiah 33:2 O LORD, be gracious to us! We wait for You. Be our strength every morning & our salvation in time of trouble. Hebr 10:23 Let us hold resolutely to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. Lam 3:22-23 Because of the loving devotion of the LORD we are not consumed, for His mercies never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness! —I am so thankful for His mercy & grace! I am so thankful that He doesn’t give up on us! I am so thankful that His blessings are new everyday! No matter what, We need only hold resolutely to the hope in Him that we profess! Love Mel
2 Samuel 22:4: I Call Upon The Lord and I Am Saved From My Enemies.
Joel1:19 To You, O Lord, I cry; For fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness & the flame has burned up all the trees of the field. Jonah 2:2 “I called out of my distress to the Lord, & He answered me. I cried for help from the depth of Sheol; You heard my voice. 1 Chron 16:8 Oh give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples. 2 Sam 22:4 I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, & I am saved from my enemies. Acts 2:21 It shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Psalm 116:2 Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live. — We need only to call upon the Lord to be saved & we should never fear what mere man can do to us! For if God is for us, no devil in hell can steal us from His hands! Love is the key to His kingdom! We must protect our hearts from the hardening in this world! Be willing to be like Him! Love Mel
John 12:46: Jesus is The Light of the World
John 12:46 I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in Me may not remain in darkness. John 14:1 Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in Me. 1 John 4:19 We love because He first loved us. Hebr 10:24 Let us consider how to stir up one another to love & good works. 1Cor13:7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1Peter3:8 Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, & a humble mind. —Love has the power to build up, while hate destroys! The human heart is so broken without God! We need Him more now than ever! I love the story of the two wolves, —“An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. “A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.” He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you & inside every person, too.” The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?” The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”” —Let’s be the ones that pray the most to stop evil!
