2Peter 1:2-3 Grace & peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God & of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has given us everything we need for life & godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory & excellence. 2 Peter 3:18 Grow in the grace & knowledge of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now & to the day of eternity. Amen. Romans 11:36 For from Him & through Him & to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen. — Grace is “the love and mercy given to us by God because God desires us to have it, not necessarily because of anything we have done to earn it”. 1Thes 4:11-12 To aspire to live quietly, & to mind your own affairs, & to work with your hands, as we instructed you, so that you may walk properly before outsiders & be dependent on no one. — What a thought! Love Mel

Matt 11:28-29 Come to Me, all you who are weary & burdened, & I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you & LEARN from Me; for I am gentle & humble in heart, & you will find rest for your souls. Mark 4:38-40 Jesus was inside the boat, sleeping with his head on a pillow. The followers went & woke him. They said, “Teacher, don’t you care about us? We are going to drown!” Jesus stood up & gave a command to the wind & the water. He said, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind stopped, & the water became calm. He said to his followers, “Why are you afraid?” —The only place we truly find rest is by learning from Jesus. When we spend time in His presence & learn from Him, we’ll experience a peace we never knew before. Jesus offers real life. A life that lets us sleep during the storms of life! Love Mel

John 14:17 The Word was made flesh, & dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace & truth. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, & the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 8:32 You will know the truth, & the truth will set you free. John 16:13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, & he will declare to you the things that are to come. — Truth! What is Truth? Jesus hug on a cross, He died, He rose again, & He paid the price for our sin on the cross. These are truths in the word! We believe because our acceptance of Jesus as our Savior leads to life & not believing the truth leads to death. If God is the Word, & God is truth, then there is no higher authority to dispute this claim! If we know God, then we know truth & it is truth that sets us free! —Gal 5:13 “For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love SERVE one another. Matt 23:11 The greatest among you shall be your servant. — Love Mel

Prov 16:15 In the light of a king’s face there is life, & His favor is like the clouds that bring the spring rain. 1Chron 16:11 Seek the Lord & His strength; Seek His face continually. Psalm 27:8 My heart said, “Seek His face.” Your face, O LORD, I will seek. Psalm 105:4 Seek out the LORD & His strength; seek His face always. —The Hebrew word “face” is translated “presence”! God’s presence is manifested thru our relationship with Jesus Christ! — Psalm 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.— Looking for JOY? It is found seeking His face! — Matt 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger & thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. — He loves it when His children seek Him. Love Mel
