Ex 14:14 (ESV) The Lord will fight for you, & you have only to be silent. — Silence is another quality that is hard. It is here where we are to put our trust in God & destroy all our doubts. How to destroy all our doubts when the silence sets in is truly to put all our trust in Him & believe that He will fight for us. — Deut 3:22 Do not be afraid of them, for the LORD your God Himself will fight for you. — Fear goes hand in hand with doubt! So just trust that all our battles belong to the Lord & will be handled in His time! Trust, trust, trust! Love Mel
Isaiah 41: Fear Not God is With Us
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 40: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. — You know waiting is probably the hardest thing, but when we do wait, we receive way more than we ever expect. It is here where we find our strength in our day to day struggles. A renewal that overcomes & strengthens us above all the pains & agonies of this world. When you need a good word, listen to the song “overcomer” by Mandisa! And come up higher! Love Mel
Present Your Case to The Judge, King, Lawgiver (and our Daddy)
From Bill’s Blog at “onewoodentable.com”
Isaiah 41:21 (KJV) “Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.” Is 33:22 (KJV) “For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.” —Many scriptures prove that Satan is our accuser (the accuser of the brethren) and Jesus is our defense lawyer. He continually serves as our High Priest & intercessor, as the accuser of the brethren always seeks to destroy us. We must guard against this by avoiding sin, but if we do sin we must immediately confess & trust in the ever cleansing blood of Christ.
But beyond that THERE IS A WAY TO PRAY in which you present your case to God as a lawyer might. WHY should he answer your prayer? What benefit is it to Him? What scriptures are NOT fulfilled if He does not answer your request? PRESENT YOUR CASE!!!
—As David said in Psalm 30:9 (KJV) “What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?” —When you pray, envision a court room setting in which you plead your case to God. You stand as a righteous (ONLY by the blood of Christ) son or daughter of the most high. YOU HAVE STANDING!! And you have scripture you can stand upon (I hope) for your request – (not for the new Corvette 😃) – get the point? If you are in God’s will with your request & it makes sense scripturally – present your case in the name of your attorney Jesus to the most high – Judge of the Universe. & believe, —because believing also is important, or your adversary can use that against you. Did you pray & then say “this will never happen”?
Pray a prayer in God’s will from a life dedicated to God & MAKE YOUR CASE to your Judge, King, & Lawgiver (and Father!) He will hear & answer! Love Mel
2 Peter 1: Put on The Divine Nature
2 Peter1:3-8 (KJV) According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life & godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory & virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great & precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. & beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; & to virtue knowledge; & to knowledge temperance; & to temperance patience; & to patience godliness; & to godliness brotherly kindness; & to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, & abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. — Learning to know Him is truly life eternal! Let’s put aside the weights of this world & learn to keep our eyes on Him & we will find that true glory (LOVE) that our hearts long for! Love Mel
Judge Not Lest ye Be Judged
(Verses from KJV) Luke 6:39 He spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? — When we judge others so willingly, it is the same as the blind leading the blind. We need to give up the need to judge others & spend more time learning the ways of the Lord. — Matt 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. Luke 6:37 Judge not, & ye shall not be judged: condemn not, & ye shall not be condemned: forgive, & ye shall be forgiven: — Let’s replace our judging with forgiveness & we will be forgiven! Our Bible tells us that it is Love that covers a multitude of sins! So when we learn to love big, just think about all the wrongs that can be righted! It is here that the door is open wide. Love Mel
