Use Your Gifts to Serve One Another
1 Peter 4:10-11 (ESV) As good stewards of the manifold grace of God, each of you should use whatever gift he has received to serve one another. Whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen — The key here is, no matter what we say or do with regard to God, we are to be mere vessels, allowing Him to flow thru us & giving Him ALL the glory! We Must Humble Ourselves and Pray and He Will Heal Our Land
2 Chron 7:14 If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, & pray & seek my face & turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven & will forgive their sin & heal their land. — Have you ever heard the saying, “Now that is a big IF?” Humility is not an easy trait to take hold of, but it is one that our God rewards! — Matt 23:12 Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, & whoever humbles himself will be exalted. 2Cor 11:30 If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness! — Now how many people do you know that go around boasting about their weaknesses? Consider it Joy When You Encounter Trials?
James 1:2-4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers & sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature, complete, not lacking anything. James 1:12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love Him. — TRIALs! — Joshua 1:9 Be strong & courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go! — This is key! While We Were Yet Sinners Christ Died for Us
1John4:16 (ESV) So we have come to know & to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, & whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. Rom 5:8 God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. —God’s love is more powerful than our sin! Praise Him! This is so Good News!
