Luke 3:4-6 (KJV) As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make His paths straight. Every valley shall be filled, & every mountain & hill shall be brought low; & the crooked shall be made straight, & the rough ways shall be made smooth; & all flesh shall see the salvation of God. — Prepare the way to each heart, so that Jesus can fill it with His love! One day He is returning & the road to each willing must be open & prepared for His return. Don’t be a stranger! — James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, & He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; & purify your hearts, ye double minded. Matt 7:22-23 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? & in thy name have cast out devils? & in thy name done many wonderful works? & then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Hebr 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, & that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. — The key is to diligently seek HIM! Gaining Favor With God and Man
Prov 13:15 Good understanding gains favor… Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts gain rich understanding. His praise endures forever. Prov 3:3-4 Let not steadfast love & faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor & good success in the sight of God & man. — What do Steadfast love, faithfulness, good understanding, & wisdom have in common? They all gain you favor with God. Love Mel
In Due Time We Will Reap if We Do Not Faint
Psalm 37:3 (ESV) Trust in the Lord, & do good; dwell in the land & befriend faithfulness. 1Thes 5:21 Test everything; hold fast what is good. Psalm 34:8 Oh, taste & see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him. Gal 6:9 Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. — We are to take refuge in Him, do good & befriend faithfulness! More Than Conquerers
1 Cor 15:57 Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Rom 8:37 In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. 2Cor 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, & maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place. — Where is our victory?, but in Christ! God’s Riches at Christ’s Expense – GRACE
GRACE = Gods Riches at Christ’s Expense — Is GRACE more than Salvation & Forgiveness of Sin? Have you ever really examined all the areas in your life where you have seen Gods GRACE? — Titus 2:11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men. Romans 6:14 14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace. Eph 4:7 To each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. John1:16 For of His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. Hebr 4:11 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy & find grace to help us in our time of need. 1 Peter 4:10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. — His GRACE is provided for our time of need & His gifts are to help others in their time of need!
