Guard Your Heart for Out of it Flows Your Destiny

Prov 4:20-23 (KJV)My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, & health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good… — What we say & do demonstrates what is in our heart! — Phil 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue & if there be any praise, think on these things. — Our thoughts will dictate the things that come out of our heart! Think on the good things! They are life & health! In the world today, life is filled with so much noise & clutter, but when we choose to place our focus on the good & feed our mind with His love. It is where we will find our way back to the heart matters! Love Mel

We Shall be Known by Our Fruit – The Greatest is Love

Matt 7:16 (KJV)Ye shall know them by their fruits. Gal 5:22-23 The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Rom 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat & drink; but righteousness, peace, & joy in the Holy Ghost. — Thieves steal, Liars lie, cheaters cheat, haters hate, & killers kill. When Greed, deception, immorality, pride, or dishonesty defines them then the fruit is not good! Our God is looking for good fruit! — 1 John 3:10 (ESV)By this it is evident who are the children of God, & who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother. 1 Cor 13:13 So now faith, hope, & love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Peter 4:8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Prov 17:9 Whoever covers an offense seeks love, but he who repeats a matter separates close friends. Prov 10:12 Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses. — It is a heart matter! Love is the key! Love Mel

Keep Your Life Free From the Love of the Counterfeit God – Money!

Gen 28:15(all ESV)Behold, I am with you & will keep you wherever you go, & will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you. Hebr 13:5 Keep your life free from love of money, & be content with what you have, for He has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Matt 28:20 “Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you & behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” — We are never alone! God loves us & is with us always! — Matt 6:24 “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one & love the other, or he will be devoted to the one & despise the other. You cannot serve God & money.” — Don’t let money come between you & God! He really wants our love & obedience. The Key is not to let anything come between you and God. Love Mel

My Rock, My Salvation and My Fortress – My God in Whom I Trust

Isaiah 26:4 (all ESV)Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock. Psalm 62:2 He alone is my rock & my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken. Psalm 18:31 For who is God, but the LORD? & who is a rock, except our God. 1 Sam 2:2 There is none holy like the LORD: for there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God. 1 Peter 2:6 For it stands in Scripture: “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen & precious, & whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.” — There are so many great scriptures about “The Rock or Cornerstone” in scripture! This reminds me of the old hymn “Rock of Ages”. “Rock of Ages, cleft for me, Let me hide myself in Thee;”. We will always find protection when we choose to hide ourselves in Him! Love Mel

He Who Has Been Forgiven Much Loves Much

Luke 7:37-38 Behold, a woman of the city, who was a sinner, when she learned that he was reclining at table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of ointment, & standing behind him at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears & wiped them with the hair of her head & kissed his feet & anointed them with the ointment. Luke 7:47-48 Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little.” & he said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.—Jesus is at the foundation of all of God’s love for us & we need only to be willing to use our faith to believe! For If we can love as much as we’ve been forgiven, then extraordinary will become our normal! When we finally realize that it is all about what he has done & less about what we might do! Here is where we can learn to serve him & him only! Fully realizing that he truly cleans us from all unrighteousness! But we must be willing to give it to him! We can’t hold to the unrighteousness! We must let go & let God fill us to the point of overflowing love! Love Mel
