Your Life Brings God Glory When Lived for Him

Ez 10:4-5 (all KJV) Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, & stood over the threshold of the house; & the house was filled with the cloud, & the court was full of the brightness of the LORD’S glory. & the sound of the cherubims’ wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when He speaketh. Ex 40:34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, & the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. Ez 1:28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, & I heard a voice of one that spake. — We have the ability to bring Glory to our God every day thru our faith, our worship, our trials & our service with thanksgiving & praise! In todays environment, just believing in God & choosing to honor Him over the way of the world can bring Him Glory. The closer we are to Him, the more like Him we will be. This relationship is what allows us to live a life that brings Him Glory! So Let’s spend more time reaching for that eternal glory. Love Mel

Just Trust and Obey God and Leave The Results to Him

Psalm 21:11 NLT Although they plot against you, their evil schemes will never succeed. Rom 12:21 ESV Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. 1 Thes 5:22 Abstain from every form of evil. Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Exod 14:14 The Lord will fight for you, & you have only to be silent. Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good & good evil, who put darkness for light & light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet & sweet for bitter. — Nothing tests us more than evil! But God tells us to stand & be quiet! That might be really hard for a lot of people, but if we can learn to trust God & learn that we don’t need to defend ourselves, but only continue to do good, we will see our God move like never before. Don’t forget, Evil is always the lie . masquerading as light! Love Mel

Pray The Lord Will Stir Your Soul to Use You For His Glory

Ezra 1:1 (ESV) In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD STIRRED up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom & also put it in writing: Ezra 1:5 Then rose up the heads of the fathers’ houses of Judah; Benjamin; the priests & the Levites, everyone whose spirit God had STIRRED to go up to rebuild the house of the LORD that is in Jerusalem. Romans 12:11 Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. John 5:4 (KJV)For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, & STIRRED the water: whosoever then first after the STIRRING of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. — Does God STIR the waters of your soul? Lord we pray that you will STIR the hearts of your people so that we too will have a fervent spirit. Heal us & protect us during these troubling times we pray! Praise be to God for mercy! Help us to rebuild the walls of your kingdom! Love Mel

The Opportunity Comes During Times Like This!

Nothing But Opportunity — Are you waiting for things to return to normal? Do you seek the absence of pain & confusion? There is a bright side to some of this turmoil. The times we live in are in part designed for the would-be seeker who has lived so long in the bubble of complacency. Revival is coming! How do we know this, you ask? Because quickly is coming the time when there is no one or nothing to rely upon but God. Are we ready as the church to feed the hungry, & to speak the gospel? The spirit is moving upon the earth causing men & women to cry out to God. The end times harvest must be beginning – because the events of life are forcing it. Luke 11 (KJV): It came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. 2 & he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Matthew 5 (KJV): Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, & to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, & put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; & it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, & glorify your Father which is in heaven. Do You Have Deferred Hope? Still Waiting?

Hope Deferred Prov 13:12 (KJV): “Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.” How many of us reading this today are praying for something that just has not happened yet & are getting discouraged & considering giving up? Is it a child in trouble or acting outside of scripture? Is it a healing we need in our body? Is it the removal of guilt, shame & ties to the past? Is it a country headed the wrong way? Whatever it is – don’t give up! Joseph was placed into Pharoah’s prison for more than a dozen years after doing nothing but honorable things. Abraham waited 25 years for a son after the angel visited him to tell him that he & Sarah would give birth again! David was anointed king & then spent more than 10 years running for his life, hiding in caves from Saul until his time came. The King of the Universe lived as a human for 30 years before accomplishing his painful purpose & returning to His throne of glory!! If you are a child of God, He tells you never to give up! To put your trust in Him. Continue to pray. Continue to give. Continue to speak the word to yourself & others. Also remember these times of waiting – for the Christian – are times of growth, learning & of forging an eternal faith. Romans 12:2 (KJV) tells us we should always be “Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing in prayer”. Love Mel
