Luke 11:9-10 (KJV) say unto you, Ask, & it shall be given you; seek, & ye shall find; knock, & it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; & he that seeketh findeth; & to him that knocketh it shall be opened. John 14:4-6 (ESV) You know the way to where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, & the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Jer 29:12-13 (ESV)Then you will call upon me & come & pray to me, & I will hear you. You will seek me & find me, when you seek me with all your heart.— Ask, Seek & Knock are all actions that are required of us. Be like Thomas, never be timid, always be willing to Ask! Seek Him with your whole heart! & In order to enter someone else’s home, we must first knock before the door is open. This is the same for the door to heaven. Love Mel
His Yoke is Easy and His Burden is Light
Matt 11:28-30 (ESV) Come to me, all who labor & are heavy laden, & I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, & learn from me, for I am gentle & lowly in heart, & you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, & my burden is light. — All life experiences under the wing of the Almighty are easier & lighter than if you are without Him — 2 Cor 4:17 For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison. 1 Peter 5:10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, & establish you. — No matter what the pain, He promises to restore, confirm, strengthen, & establish us for an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison. Burn the Ships and Don’t Look Back
According to a legend, Hernán Cortés, the Spanish conquistador issued a rather interesting order, “Burn the Ships”, to his men as they began their conquest of the Aztec empire in 1519. He wanted his men to understand that they had no opportunity to retreat or to head back to Spain, so they had to give the fight everything. Failure was not an option & winning the battle became of utmost importance. — Are there ships you need to burn in your life? Dwell in The Secret Place of The Most High
Psalm 91:1 (KJV) He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 27:5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion: in the secret of His tabernacle shall He hide me; He shall set me up upon a rock. Psalm 17:8 Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings. — Secret Place- a special place to hide where you feel safe from being found! When we choose to dwell in the Secret Place it is under the shadow of the Almighty. In Florida’s sun, things can get hot really quick, the shade of a tree is so appreciated to protect from the heat. The Shadow of the Almighty is an offering from God to protect us, when things get heated! We only need to freely choose Gods Secret Place where we can find His shadow. Love Mel
Believe and See The Power of God
Rom 15:13 (all ESV) May the God of hope fill you with all joy & peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Num 13:30-31 Caleb quieted the people before Moses & said, “Let us go up at once and occupy it, for we are well able to overcome it.” Then the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we are. Num 14:6-7 Joshua the son of Nun & Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes & said to all the congregation of the people of Israel, The land, which we passed through to spy it out, is an exceedingly good land.— When we truly believe, we must have hope & choose to live a life of joy! Any other life is believing the lies of the enemy & thereby living a life focused on the wrong things. That is the giants & instead of the promises of God. We can be a Joshua & Caleb!
