Rom 3:23 (ESV) For all have sinned & fall short of the glory of God, Hebr 1:3 (ESV) Jesus is the radiance of the glory of God & the exact imprint of His nature, & He upholds the universe by the word of His power. After making purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. 2 Cor 3:18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. Rom 5:2 Through Him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, & we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. — Jesus came into the world as a light to reveal to us the Glory of the Father in Heaven. The heavens declare the Glory of God & In the future the New Jerusalem, and all its glory will be manifest for all to see as stated in : Rev 21:23 “The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, & the Lamb is its lamp.” — God invaded our lives with His Glory when He sent His only son to die for our sins. We are no longer separated from Him, praise His Holy Name. Amen Love Mel
Communicating with God
Q, God Calling 1945 By Dodd, Mead & Company, Inc. “You have to hush the heart & bid ALL senses be still before you can be attuned to receive Heaven’s music. Your five senses are your means of communication with the material world, the links between your real Spirit Life & the material manifestations around you, but you must sever all communication with them. They will hinder not help. See the good in all. Love, Laugh, make the world happy! As ripples caused by a flung stone stir the surface of a whole pond, so your joy-making shall spread in ever widening circles beyond all your knowledge, all anticipation. Joy in Me. Such Joy is eternal. ” — Reminds me of my childhood days throwing stones across my family’s pond. What Joy was had by all in that simple stone skipping exercise! What Joy! As a child we get glimpses of heaven. Find that Joy. Love Mel
The Greatest Among You Must Be the Servant
Matt 20:27-28 Whoever would be first among you must be your servant, even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, & to give His life as a ransom for many. John 12:26 If anyone serves me, he must follow Me; & where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him. Gal 5:13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. Col 3:12-13 Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy & beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, & patience, bearing with one another &, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. —
What do you think, to serve or be served? — Matt 23:11 The greatest among you shall be your servant. We must remember that In the Kingdom of God, greatness is measured by one’s willingness to serve, not by status or power in this world. Love Mel
A Message re the Events of Late
Please read the following partial speech, Shared by my daughter, Megan, given by Tulsi Gabbard from Charlie Kirk’s Memorial Service: “You know I’ve said many times, and every soldier lives this fact, this truth – I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death for your right to say it. (Charlie lived by this principle)
It is time for us every day in how we engage with others to choose to live aloha – love, respect. You know from my home state of Hawaii the reason why we greet each other with the word aloha is because of its deeply spiritual meaning. It doesn’t actually mean hello or goodbye. We greet each other with aloha because what we are really saying when we say aloha is I see you as a child of God and I respect you as such. It’s to recognize that God is all powerful, and God’s love is all powerful. Love is not weak. Respect for others is not weak. There is nothing more powerful than love. Living aloha. Living that love and respect. It doesn’t mean being a pacifist or rolling over when our ideas are challenged or when our freedoms are under attack. Actually, it’s the exact opposite. It means standing up, fueled by love to defeat hate, to defeat that evil and that darkness, and to speak the truth and defend our fundamental freedoms that are granted to us by God.
Those who are full of anger and hopelessness and hate right now (…) unfortunately they do not have the spiritual happiness that Charlie experienced. They are empty, and this is where their anger is coming from. It is their rejection of God. Their desire to be God and therefore they have made God their enemy. I have hope today that every one of us will do our best to shine the light of God’s love in our lives and in our work. That we will treat each other with aloha, respect, and stand strong and unshakeable in the defense of our God given rights and freedoms.”
1 Peter3:8 (ESV) Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. Love Mel
A Modern Day Martyr
Matt 5:10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. John 15:18 If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. Rev 6:9-11 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God & for the witness they had borne. They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy & true, how long before you will judge & avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Then they were each given a white robe & told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants & their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been. — It is so very hard to understand the useless killing of the Christian evangelist, “Charlie Kirk”. May we all keep his family in our prayers! But we can take comfort in knowing that Charlie is Blessed by God being a modern day Martyr. He gave his life for standing for the call of God on his life. May we also pray that many more young people will come to know God & awaken from the evil in this world that has so many confused & calling right wrong & wrong right! —Rom 12:9 Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.— Hold fast to what is good & Pray for our country! Love Mel
