John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, & the Word was with God, & the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, & without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life, & the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, & the darkness has not overcome it. Matt 4:4 …“It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Luke 11:28 “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God & keep it!” James1:22 …Be doers of the word, & not hearers only. Prov30:5 Every word of God proves true; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.— Words can be used to tell a story. Words can be used to give advice. Words are the primary means of communication. So how much more important are the words of our creator? They were written to each of us. His book is filled with all the advice & wisdom we could ever need in this world. He even refers to it as bread, a need that we all have! So spend sometime with Him, by simply opening up the Bible.
