Isaiah 53:7 He was oppressed & afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter, & as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so He did not open His mouth. John 1:36 When he saw Jesus walking by, he said, “Look, the Lamb of God. —The Bible teaches us that the lamb was the only animal used twice a day in the offering services. The lamb was the blood offering given to cover sins. Christ is referred to as the Lamb by John, telling us that The blood of Jesus is sufficient to cover our sins every day & for ever & ever.
