Exodus 14:13 FEAR NOT

Exod 14:13 Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, & see the salvation of the Lord, which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. Isaiah 30:15 For the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, has said: “By repentance & REST you would be saved; your strength would lie in quiet confidence…Exod 14:14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still! Isaiah 26:3-4 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Psalm 46:10 “Be still & know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted over the earth.” — We need only be still, calm trusting in God & Him alone. For He works on our behalf, when we let Him! This trust is one of the hardest thing to do! But if we can ever get it, we will find His rest! — Hebr 4:10 For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His. —Have you ever had a plant that you failed to water or one that you watered too much! This is what constant worry does, it kills by its very nature! When we put it in His hands then rest, we have the opportunity for some of the most remarkable outcomes we have ever experienced! God loves us & is waiting patiently for us to call! Love Mel

Romans 3: 22-24 Righteousness is By Faith in Christ

Romans 3:22-24 Righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction, for all have sinned & fall short of the glory of God, & are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. —How many have sinned? ALL!  What is the price? Death! The price has been paid by Christ Jesus! —Rev 1:18 The living one. I died, & behold I am alive forevermore, & I have the keys of Death & Hades. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. — Eternal Life is a free gift! It is worth more than rubies & gold! We need only accept! — Matt 19:20-22 “All these I have kept,” said the young man. “What do I still lack?” Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions & give to the poor, & you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.” When the young man heard this, he went away in sorrow, because he had great wealth. — We need only give up our sins! Are you willing to let go of the strongholds in your life? Let go & let God handle the sin issue, because He always overcomes! And thru Him we can too! —Matt 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Love Mel

2 Corinthians 5:18 Reconciliation with God by Christ’s Sacrifice

Reconciliation & Forgiveness are not the same! Reconciliation takes both parties & Forgiveness only takes the forgiver! — 2 Cor 5:18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to Himself & gave us the ministry of reconciliation. — We have been reconciled to God By Christ Jesus! —Romans 5:10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by His life. Col 1:20 Through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of His cross. Hebr 12:14 Strive for peace with everyone, & for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. — Our Striving For Peace & Holiness sounds hard! — Q: C. S. Lewis says that, “the way God works in us and changes us now is making us fit for heaven, preparing us to enjoy what heaven is like. That change is the growth in holiness that Paul describes as our “ever-increasing glory” (NIV), or as our being “changed […] from glory to glory” (KJV).” — It is way easier one bite at a time, one step at a time or one day at a time! Just make the most of each move! Love Mel

Matthew 6: 9-13 The Lord’s Prayer

Matt 6:9-13 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, & the glory, forever. Amen” —Jesus teaches His Disciples to Pray! Now immediately following the prayer is two scriptures that are worth reading! —Matt 6:14-15 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matt 5:23-24 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, & there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, & go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, & then come and offer thy gift. —Forgiveness in our hearts is critical as part of our prayers! —Mark 11:25 Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. —Forgiveness is so so important to receiving all that God has for us! It never means that we are to be a doormat, but we can move past the hurts & pains when we forgive! It frees our hearts so they will be free to beat for our God! And it makes the way for our God to forgive us! Love Mel

Romans 11:1-2 We Are Grafted In to God’s Chosen People

Romans 11:1-2 I ask then, did God reject His people? Absolutely not! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. God did not reject His people, whom He foreknew. Romans 11:11 I ask then, did they stumble so as to lose their share? Certainly not! However, because of their trespass, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel jealous. —Our salvation came because we were grafted in as a branch can be grafted to another plant that has a root system! Thank you Jesus—Romans 11:16-18 If the first part of the dough is holy, so is the whole batch; if the root is holy, so are the branches. Now if some branches have been broken off, & you, a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others to share in the nourishment of the olive root, DO NOT boast over those branches. If you do, remember this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. —Remember it is all about the root! —2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that ANY should perish, but that all should reach repentance. —He cares for all! —2Chron 6:6 Yet I have chosen Jerusalem, that My name may be there, & I have chosen David to be over My people Israel. Romans 11:5 So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace. Revelation 7:3-4 Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a SEAL on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all THE TRIBES of Israel. —We serve a God who continues to focus on His beloved Israel, His Chosen People & all of us who have been grafted in! That is worth praising Him over! Love Mel
