Eph3:14-21 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven & on earth is named, that according to the riches of His glory He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted & grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth & length & height & depth, & to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church & in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever & ever. Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong & courageous. Do not be frightened, & do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Deut 31:6 Be strong & courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. Isaiah 41:13 For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.” — Life is filled with issues that we deal with everyday! Many times this is where our God wants to demonstrate His Lordship over our lives & fight for us. Fear draws us away from Him. However, when we finally decide to trust Him & lay it at His feet, it is here where He begins to fight for us! Love Mel

John 15:4-5 Abide in Me, & I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me & I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. John 15:7 If you remain in me & my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, & it will be given you. Col1:10 So that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing [to Him], bearing fruit in every good work & growing in the knowledge of God. —Put first things first! We all have priorities in our life. If God is first then we must have Him as #1. So how do we do this? We must have an active prayer life & a willingness to abide there as often as we can! & He will equip us for whatever for the day. Do Good & Walk in Love! Love Mel

Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; & what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, & to walk humbly with your God? Prov 21:3 To do righteousness & justice is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice. Hosea 6:6 For I desire steadfast love & not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings. Matt 9:13 Go & learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, & not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” — what does it mean to show mercy? It means to have a heart of kindness toward our God & each other! —Psalm 51:1 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Matt 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. Prov 11:25 A generous soul will prosper, & he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed. — Showing mercy refreshes the soul & our God loves a refreshed soul! Love Mel

Read carefully: Psalm 82:1-7 “God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; He judgeth “among the gods”. How long will ye judge unjustly, & accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. Defend the poor & fatherless: do justice to the afflicted & needy. Deliver the poor & needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; & all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, & fall like one of the princes.” At the Tower of Babel after the Lord confused the nations we see: Deut 32:8-9(ESV) “When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when He divided mankind, He fixed the borders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God. But the Lord’s portion is His people, Jacob his allotted heritage.” –So we see here that God apportioned the nations (except Israel) to some of His created beings. These are the powers & principalities that rule over nations that Paul refers to. These are the ones wreaking havoc on the world today just as they did in the past. Do you see how history repeats itself in Afghanistan, Australia, & Russia to name a few. Too much to unpack in one message, but remember we fight not against flesh & blood but against demons & those they influence. Always PRAY. Love Mel
