Psalm 34:17-20 (ESV) When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears & delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted & saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows those who take refuge in Him. Deut 31:6 Be strong & courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. — He is always with us in the storms of life when we choose Him for refuge! Nothing is Impossible With God!
Luke 1:37 (ESV)For nothing will be impossible with God. Matt 19:26 Jesus looked at them & said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible”. Job 42:2 I know that you can do all things, & that no purpose of yours can be thwarted. — Some good news, Matthew Henry’s Commentary states, “The beginning, progress, and perfecting the work of salvation, depends wholly on the almighty power of God, to which all things are possible.” — We can’t buy our way into heaven we can’t work our way into heaven, & the Government can’t control it. It is a free gift from our God. We merely need to put all pride aside, & humble ourselves before Jesus, believing in His sacrifice for us. Truly a gift of His grace & mercy. Love Mel
Your Actions Can Bring Positive Change
2Cor 4:17 (ESV)For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, Is 43:19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness & rivers in the desert. Psalm 103:1-5 Bless the LORD, O my soul, & all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, & forget not all His benefits, who forgives all our iniquity, who heals all our diseases, who redeems our life from the pit, who crowns us with steadfast love & mercy, who satisfies us with good so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s. —Our actions always bring change, we must be sure to point that change in the right direction to bring about positive change! The Salt of the Earth
Matt 5:13 You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet. Mark 9:50 (ESV) Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, how will you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, & be at peace with one another. Eph 4:29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. Col 4:6 Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person. — “the salt of the earth.” Came from Jesus’ sermon on the mount where He was addressing the fishermen, shepherds, & laborers of that day! To be both worthy & virtuous watching our words meant something during that time & should still mean something today! The Narrow Gate – Understand What it Means – Faith not Works
Matt 7:13-14 (ESV)Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide & the way is easy that leads to destruction, & those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow & the way is hard that leads to life, & those who find it are few. Matt 6:33 Seek first the kingdom of God & His righteousness, & all these things will be added to you. — We must remember, Jesus is the narrow gate! — John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, & the life.
