Hosea 6:1-2 Come, let us return to the LORD; for He has torn us, that He may heal us; He has struck us down, & He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live before Him. John 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” — In this world we will have trouble, here we find God urging us to seek Him. It is here we find His encouragement which consists of the knowledge of his ability & willingness to heal our wounds. We must believe in Him, for here is where we find a hope that is greater than we can truly understand. It is real! A love that is beyond this world’s understanding. Love Mel
All Things are Possible With God
1 Cor 1:26-31 For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low & despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human beingd might boast in the presence of God. & because of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness, sanctification & redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” John 9:1-3 As He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth. & His disciples asked Him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him. — God works all things to His Glory! We may never fully understand what God is up to, but one thing is for sure & that is His promises. We must continue to believe that ALL things are possible with God & He is our strength thru it all. He said that in this world there would be trouble, but to be of good cheer for He has overcome the world! We have an enemy that roams around looking & we must be ready at all times to do battle! Stay dressed in your battle armor! We are in a fight! Love Mel
Please add my brother Dennis to your prayer list. Pray for complete healing & protection from the enemy. He fought thru Leukemia, & now has been diagnosed with Aphasia. Aphasia is a brain issue! Many have it following a stroke. He knows what he wants to say but can’t find the words! They believe his is due to all the meds from fighting cancer! Thank you so much. Life can be so hard at times, but with God, ALL things are possible. Love Mel
Fight the Good Fight
1 Sam 30:6 David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because all the people were bitter in soul, …. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God. 1 Cor 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, & He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 2 Tim 4:6-8 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, & the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, & not only to me but also to all who have loved His appearing. — With temptation, with the earthly battles, we are to find our strength in the Lord! Keep the faith, fight the fight, for the crown of righteousness awaits! Love Mel
Spend Time with God
Psalm 139:17-18 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you. Jer 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.– His thoughts are for our good & His thoughts are more than the sands of the sea. How awesome is that! How often do you spend time thinking & thanking Him? The more time we spend with Him, the more peace we find! Love Mel
Who is The Real Enemy? Not Flesh and Blood!
Eph 6:12 (KJV)For we wrestle not against flesh & blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 1 Tim 4:1-2 (ESV)Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits & teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared. Rom 1:28 Since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. — The seven deadly sins are: pride, envy, lust, gluttony, greed,, sloth, and wrath. When we focus more on self & less on God, we begin to believe more in our own abilities & less in Gods graces! Driving us to become overly obsessed with earthly desires wether it in the form of envy, lust, gluttony, greed, slothfulness or wrath. It is here where the door to the enemy is found open! So what next? Repent & return to God! It is the only way! We are all in a battle, & all battles require fighting, so put on His full armor & fight! Love Mel
