Prov 17:22 (ESV) A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Prov 15:33 A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed. Prov 15:15 All the days of the afflicted are evil, but the cheerful of heart has a continual feast. Psalm 37:13 Even The Lord laughs at the wicked, for He sees that his day is coming. Psalm 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. — How to have a happy heart? God fills us with Joy when we are in His presence! — Psalm 100:4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving, & His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless His name! Love Mel

Spending time with God! —Matt 6:33 (ESV)Seek first the kingdom of God & His righteousness, & all these things will be added to you. Matt 6:6 When you pray, go into your room & shut the door & pray to your Father who is in secret. & your Father who sees in secret will reward you. James 4:8 Draw near to God, & He will draw near to you…. Phil 1:6 I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. 1 Chron 16:11 Seek the Lord & His strength; seek His presence continually!  Matt 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger & thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. Luke 11:28 Jesus replied, “But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God & put it into practice.” — Spending time with God is what it takes to develop a personal relationship with God. 2 Cor 12:9 (ESV)He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Eph 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. & this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. — Grace is defined as undeserved favor!”—James 4:6 He gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. —Our God gives grace as a gift!—Rev 22:21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. 1 Cor 11:25 (ESV) In the same way also He took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me. Matt 26:26-28 Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, & after blessing it broke it & gave it to the disciples, 7 said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” & He took a cup, & when He had given thanks He gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful & just to forgive us our sins & to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. — The shedding of innocent blood for the atonement of sin was the method to restore the relationship between God & man! Jesus was the final sacrifice! — Hebrews 9:22 tells us that forgiveness only comes through an outpouring of blood. —Jesus really is the lamb of God that takes away the sins of man! We must do this with a thankful heart in total remembrance of Him! Love Mel

Matt 21:21 (ESV)Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith & do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up & thrown into the sea,’ it will happen. James 1:6 Let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven & tossed by the wind.  —Real faith is a test of your willingness to surrender! Faith comes from the heart & functions with a renewed mind! Logic & reason blocks miracles but the faith filled renewed mind opens the door to miracles! We must learn to believe every word that He has spoken to the point that doubt no longer have a place within us! Love Mel
