Trust in The Lord

Prov 16:20 (ESV) Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good, & blessed is he who TRUSTS in the Lord. Jer 17:7 Blessed is the man who TRUSTS in the LORD, whose confidence is in Him. Psalm 84:12 O LORD of Hosts, how blessed is the man who TRUSTS  in You! Psalm 56:3 (NIV) When I am afraid, I put my TRUST in You. — TRUST is “to set one’s hope & confidence upon” & “to be secure, fearing nothing.” We are to TRUST in the Lord with ALL our heart, fearing NOTHING.  Our TRUST in God has to be tied to our faith! Faith is a belief in something, often without proof, while trust is the confidence in that same something based on that faith.  Faith is believing that God can do what He promises, while trust is believing He WILL do it! Let’s be the ones that truly believe that He WILL. Love Mel

Grace and Mercy!!

1 Cor11:1 ( ESV)Be imitators of me ( Paul), as I am of Christ.  1 Cor 15:9-10 For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the GRACE of God I am what I am, & His GRACE toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the GRACE of God that is with me. 1 Tim 1:13Though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, & insolent opponent. But I received MERCY because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief.  2 Tim4:6-8 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, & the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, & not only to me but also to all who have loved His appearing. — Mercy & Grace are a beautiful thing! Are you as grateful as Paul for yours? “Grace is when God gives us what we don’t deserve & Mercy is when God doesn’t give us what we do deserve!” Both Grace & Mercy are Gods expression of His Love towards us! How beautiful! ❤️🎚🙏 Love Mel

God Preserves Us

Psalm 27:8 (ESV) You have said, “Seek my face.” My heart says to you, “Your face, Lord, do I seek.” Psalm 123:2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maidservant to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till He has mercy upon us.  Psalm 25:15 My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net. Psalm 121:7-8 The LORD will guard you from all evil;

He will preserve your soul. The LORD will watch over your coming & going, both now & forever. —We look 👀 to God for Mercy, for rescue, for our salvation & much more! We need to remember that when we seek Him we will find Him! So it is best to keep our eyes on Him! Love Mel

I AM

“I AM”. Exodus 3:14 (ESV) God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” John 6:35 Jesus said to them, “I AM the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, & whoever believes in me shall never thirst. John 8:12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I AM the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 10:7 So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I AM the door of the sheep. John 10:11 I AM the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I AM the resurrection & the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I AM the way, the truth, & the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.  John 15:1 “I AM the true vine, & my Father is the vinedresser.  John 8:58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM. ”  John 18:5 They answered him, “Jesus of Nazareth.” Jesus said to them, “I AM he.” — When Jesus said, ‘I AM he,’ they drew back & fell to the ground”.  There has never been a more powerful phrase in human existence than “I AM”! “I AM” in Hebrew is the holiest name for God in the Old Testament, & it is for use by the covenant people. Pleasing The Lord

Prov 16:7 When a man’s ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. Prov 18:15 An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, & the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. Prov 19:8 Whoever gets sense loves his own soul; he who keeps understanding will discover good.  Psalm 90:12 So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom. Col 4:5 Walk in wisdom …., making the best use of the time. James 3:13 Who is wise & understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. Prov 14:16 One who is wise is cautious & turns away from evil, but a fool is reckless & careless. Prov 3:13Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, & the one who gets understanding. Prov 13:20 Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. Prov 16:20 Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good, & blessed is he who trusts in the LORD. — Wisdom is a commodity that seems lacking! God tells us how important wisdom is & that those who turn their backs will find harm! May we all learn to use our heads & walk in ways that we know will please God! Wisdom is something that we find, & we do this by searching for understanding what is good & pleasing to our God! Love Mel
