•The primary instrument of sanctification is the Word of God.

Basically, His word of truth trains us in His righteousness. —2 Cor 5:31 For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. — By His grace, our God dealt with sin, & stated that it is finished! That is why He states in His word, —John 8:32 You will know the truth, & the truth will set you free. Love Mel

1 John 1:7 (ESV) If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, & the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. John 1:29 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, & said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! John 6:32-36 Jesus then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” They said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.” Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst”. —Passover is God bringing His people from slavery into freedom; Easter is God freeing His people from sin & death. For the celebration of Passover there was a sacrificial lamb, for the celebration of Easter Jesus was the sacrificial lamb! Throughout the Bible there is much discussion about bread, & wine; Jesus tells us He is the bread of life & the drink for never thirsting again. May you all have a blessed Passover & a blessed Resurrection Sunday! The key word is Blessed! Our blessings are worth entering His courts with a thankful heart. Love Mel

John 14:6 (ESV) Jesus said to him, “I am the way, & the truth, & the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 8:32 You will know the truth, & the truth will set you free. John 16:13 When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth, for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, & He will declare to you the things that are to come. John 17:17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.  2 Tim 2:15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. John 4:24 God is spirit, & those who worship Him must worship in spirit & truth. — TRUTH is important! Love Mel

Ex 12:21 Then Moses summoned all the elders of Israel & told them, “Go at once & select for yourselves a lamb for each family, & slaughter the Passover lamb. Deut 16:2 You shall offer the Passover sacrifice to the LORD your God, from the flock or the herd, at the place that the LORD will choose, to make His name dwell there. John 1:29 (ESV) Jesus coming toward him, & said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” Hebr 7:25 Consequently, He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. — Jesus is the lamb of God that takes away our sins. We must Keep Him in remembrance of our constant need for His grace & mercy! A beautiful picture for the coming Resurrection Celebration! Love Mel

We must remember that We are part of something so much bigger than ourselves! 
1 Cor 6:9-10 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Cor 6:11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ & by the Spirit of our God. —It is worth repenting of & turning to Him that can save! —2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. — Reach, for He wants so much more for us! Seek Him continually & He will heal us from ALL unrighteousness! Love Mel
