Psalm 112:6–8 Persevere in the faith, cast off all fear & keep your heart strong; God will never forsake you. Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. —Our faith in God is our way to overcome our fears, we must continue to seek Him. 1 John 3:1  (NIV)See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! & that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. Psalm 103:13 (ESV)As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him. Mal 2:10 (ESV)Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us? Why then are we faithless to one another, profaning the covenant of our fathers. — What does it mean to be faithful? Faithfulness means steadfast loyalty that isn’t easily swayed. —Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is a confidence in what we hope for & assurance about what we do not see.” — In this world if you choose to become a dependable, loyal and trustworthy person, people will notice! We must stay the course of faithfulness if we want to serve Christ! There is no other way! A faithful father is one that is consistent with a willingness to be faithful & true! So often you hear the question, “Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people?” First thing that is forgotten is that — Rom 3:23 (ESV)For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Ecc 7:20 Surely there is not a righteous man on earth who does good & never sins. — Some things we know! — Rom 8:28 We know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose. — Sometimes it’s to help others! —2 Cor 1:3-5 Blessed be the God & Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies & God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. — Finally don’t forget —Isaiah 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways & My thoughts than your thoughts. —Never forget it is all about His will! Friend of God — James 2:23 (ESV) The Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, & it was counted to him as righteousness”—& he was called a friend of God. Prov 17:17 A friend loves at all times… Exod 33:11 The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend. John 15:15 Jesus said, “I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. — As a friend, you choose to care & love! The same is true with God! We must remember that God is looking for a friend! One that is willing, to care about what He wants! His will! Friends make sacrifices for one another, & our God made the greatest sacrifice of all for us. —John 15:13-14 Jesus said, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command.” —Love Mel

Psalm 119:114 (ESV) You are my hiding place & my shield; I hope in your word. Psalm 57:1 (NLT)Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me, for in you I take refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.  Psalm 17:8 (NIV) Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings. Psalm 31:20 (ESV) In the cover of your presence you hide them from the plots of men; you store them in your shelter from the strife of tongues. — He is our hiding place! Growing up we loved to play hide & go seek! And my brother, Randy always had the best hiding places. It was impossible to find him. Well our God has promised to be our hiding place! I bet, if we are under His wings, no one will be able to find us. We will be safe from all disasters! Love Mel
